IT'S TEH PICONJO DAY '22 OFFICIAL ART C011AB!!!

that's right baby, this is OFFICIAL STUFF!!

in celebration of Piconjo Day on 6/9 (June 9th), we're all gathering together to SPREAD TEH <3 in our own ways! in this collab, you get to draw yourself spreading teh <3! this is open to everyone regardless of skill level, and your entry can be as simple or complex as you would like! the deadline for entries is 6/6 (June 6th)!

here's the criteria for all who may be interested:

• draw your persona, yourself as a stick figure, your oc; something that can represent you!

• fullbody (no floating heads!)

• transparent background / png

• SFW (cartoon p3n0rs are okay, but no A-rated stuff!)

• the <3 symbol MUST be present!! at least large enough to be noticeable in ur piece

to submit your entry, simply dm it to me or HztaOra on either NG or Discord by 6/6 (June 6th) to give us enough time to put everything together! you can also post it here on NG with the tag PiconjoDay22Art and notify us to make sure we get you included <3

it's the end of the year !!!! you know what that means, it means it's time 2 reflect on all the things this past year had to offer

this was my first official year on Newgrounds (technically not a full year yet as i joined in february lmao) and i truly have to say that i am so godDAMN happy to be here. my attitude towards art has improved dramatically since getting involved with NG and i finally rediscovered that spark that first inspired me to pursue art and animation. the community here is truly inspirational.

my proudest accomplishments this year are probably organizing the Piconjo Get-Well-Soon Collab (because holy shit it turned out so good and i am so proud of everyone involved), Trick or 1337, and my segment of Piconjomas Party 2021 (A Piconjomas Carol). yes, my three proudest moments are Piconjo-related. i suppose he simply brings out the best in me..... i also just had such a good time making them, it was amazing

i've been out of school for a while now but my break ends in a few days, so my nose will soon be back to the grindstone. i'll try to keep up posting my academic art this time! no promises tho, cause holy fuck i am dogshit at remembering to post my art online lmaoo

technically it's not halloween anymore but i only just remembered to make this post lol

i hope everyone had a splendid halloween/piconjow33n with lots of tricks and treats and the like! i'm glad i could make something for the holiday in time, even if it's not quite to the level that i originally planned (i wanted it to be much more complex and smooth, but three days can only get a relatively inexperienced animator so far lmao)

i've been in school for the past couple months and have had hardly any time to make non-academic art, but the quarter will end soon and hopefully i'll be able to make some stuff for the art portal then :-] until then i will occasionally post sketches or works-in-progress to my instagram, if you're interested!

also, i'd like to give a quick thanks to the Piconjo community for being such a huge inspiration and motivator recently. the power of <3 has really kept me going lol

posting stuff on newgrounds is still a little anxiety-inducing for me, mostly cause i'm trying to make a good impression and i'm scared of messing up lmao. which is very silly of course, because messing up is a part of growth!

i am slowly becoming more comfortable with interacting with the awesome community on NG, and i hope that manifests into more confidence to upload my work. most of what i like to make is a little silly, so i hope u guys enjoy it :]
